CogniMusica provides personalised music lessons for children across Livingston and the wider West Lothian area. Our nearest studio is in Bo'ness - around 20 minutes' drive north - and we also offer home visits across Livingston with prior arrangement, plus a fully online programme. We work with children aged four and above on violin, viola, piano, guitar, electric guitar, and singing, combining professional tuition with cognitive science.
About Livingston
Livingston families are well-placed for CogniMusica. Our Bo'ness studio is a short drive north of the M8, and home visits across West Lothian are part of what we do. We work with students from Livingston town centre, Dedridge, Craigshill, Howden, Knightsridge, and the surrounding villages. Our founder Justyna Skop-Wach is based in Bo'ness, so this is genuinely our local patch. All our tutors are PVG checked through Disclosure Scotland and we follow the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) curriculum for graded exams. We're a Scottish EDGE Young 2025 Winner.

How Sessions Work in Livingston
Livingston-area families have three options. Most pick online lessons over video for the flexibility - no travel, regular weekly slot, and online tuition genuinely works just as well as in-person. We also offer home visits across Livingston and West Lothian with prior arrangement (a small uplift applies to cover travel). For those who prefer in-person tuition, our Bo'ness studio is around 20-25 minutes' drive away. Sessions are 40 minutes (£35 online or in-studio, £40 at home) for children aged four and above, or 60 minutes (£40 online or in-studio, £45 at home) for ages eight and above, weekly or twice-weekly.
