Information we collect

  • Contact and enquiry details you submit through our contact or sign-up forms: your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message.

  • Usage data collected through cookies (Google Analytics), but only if you accept analytics cookies. See the Cookies section below.

How we use your information

  • To respond to enquiries and manage lesson bookings.
  • To provide and personalise our music education services.
  • To administer client portal accounts.
  • To understand how our website is used and improve it, using anonymised analytics data.
  • To meet our legal and safeguarding obligations as an organisation working with children.

We rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (providing lessons you have signed up for), consent (analytics cookies and marketing communications), legitimate interests (responding to enquiries and running our organisation), and legal obligation (safeguarding and record-keeping requirements).

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run this website and our services, such as our website hosting provider (Vercel), our database and authentication provider (Supabase), and Google Analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under their own data protection commitments. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the welfare of a child.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards. Client and lesson records are kept for the duration of our relationship with you and for as long as required by legal, accounting, or safeguarding obligations, after which they are securely deleted.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our use of it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time where consent is our legal basis. Children's information

Our services are aimed at parents, carers, and guardians, who provide information about their children to us. We collect only what is needed to teach and safeguard each child, and we never use children's information for marketing.
